Transitions Furniture offers a fine line of
upholstered sofas, loveseats, sectionals, sleepers, lounges, chairs,
ottomans, exposed wood and accent pieces all designed with your comfort
in mind.
Transitions Furniture produces with pride and has enjoyed a
superlative reputation in the furniture industry for producing the
finest quality upholstered furniture available for over 30 years by
experienced craftsmen. In addition, they also have a full custom
capabilities- from making base changes, size changes etc. from the
line—to produce styles from your sketches or photos etc.
This is possible because Transitions Furniture has its own mill so they can personally
see your custom pieces through from beginning to completed product.
This is also why they are able to guaranty their frames for life.
Only the finest natural raw materials and fibres
are used in construction of our furniture. All materials used in
the interior construction of our product meet requirements of UFAC and
California Technical Bulletin Number 117.
Transitions Furniture's frames are constructed using select kiln
dried premium grade hardwood alder. All frames are corner blocked,
double doweled, glued and then re-enforced with wood screws. The
frames are assembled by hand and are made with coil springs secured to
the seat bottoms and to each other using time honored true eight-way
hand-tying.
All sleepers use a innerspring mattress and the
“Dream Sleeper Mechanism” from Hickory Springs with the following
features: Fallaway Crossbar (Eliminates back discomfort caused by the
crossbar) Bed Secure (prevents bed from tilting or toppling at the seat
section) Recliner Headrest (provides recliner-line comfort with the new
double bend frame) Stress release pivot action (reduces pressure
required to open and close mechanism.)
